Reasons for travelCustoms requirements
Holiday/Temporary stayAll shipments with a total weight exceeding 35 kg will be assessed for duties and taxes. Any shipments exceeding this may incur duties and taxes that are calculated at the discretion of Spanish customs authorities. A copy of the receivers DNI card will need to be provided if they are a Spanish citizen, as well as a copy of their passport and flight ticket/confirmation into Spain. If the receiver is not a Spanish citizen, they will be required to provide a copy of their passport and inbound and outbound flight ticket. An NIE will need to be applied for and registered with the receivers relevant local Tax Office or Police Station in Spain if the receiver is staying in Spain for longer than 3 months. The receiver will also need to provide a written statement to Spanish customs detailing what their Personal Effects are for and why they are being shipped to Spain. You will also need to complete a power of attorney which will be generated during your order process
StudentsA copy of the receivers passport, NIE/DNI, and inbound flight ticket are required as well as a letter of study or enrolment letter. You will also need to complete a power of attorney which will be generated during your order process

If the receiver is a Spanish resident, a copy of their NIE card or Visa, passport and inbound flight ticket into Spain is required. You will also need to complete a power of attorney which will be generated during your order process
Working AbroadIf you are travelling to Spain for work you will need to provide your NIE number, inbound flight details, proof of registration and your address in Spain. You will also need to complete a power of attorney which will be generated during your order process
RelocationIf you are emigrating to Spain you will to provide your NIE number, inbound flight details, proof of registration ( Certificado de Empadronamiento) and your address in Spain. You will also need to complete a power of attorney which will be generated during your order process. Spanish Citizens relocating back to Spain after more than one year abroad may also be required to obtain A Baja Consular may also be required for any Spanish citizens relocating back to Spain who have been out of the country for more than one year. This can be obtained from the Spanish Embassy or Spanish Consulate in the collection country

– All food, including items such as tea bags, coffee, etc and all cosmetics are prohibited to Spain
– Medication is not permitted, this includes herbal remedies such as cod-liver oil 
– You will only be called if your contact number is a Spanish number
