| Holiday/Temporary stay | If you are travelling to Ireland for a holiday you will need to provide a copy of your passport, your flight details and fill out a Passenger’s Baggage form |
| Students | If you are travelling to Ireland to study you will need to provide a copy of your passport, your flight details, confirmation of your address in Ireland, confirmation of your address in the country you previously resided in and a letter from your place of study confirming your attendance, the course to be studied and the duration, as well as filling out a Passenger’s Baggage form. If your shipment contains any antiques, you will also need to fill out an Antique Declaration |
| Returning resident | If you are returning to Ireland to live, you will need to provide a copy of your passport, your flight information, confirmation of your address in Ireland, confirmation of your address in the country you previously resided in and you will also need to fill out a Passenger’s Baggage form. If your shipent contains any antiques, you will also need to fill out an Antique Declaration |
| Working Abroad | If you are travelling to Ireland for work, you will need to provide a copy of your passport, your flight details, confirmation of your address in Ireland, confirmation of your address in the country you previously resided and a copy of your work contract. You will also be required to fill out a Passenger’s Baggage form. If your shipment contains any antiques, you will also need to fill out an Antique Declaration |
